Malachi O’Doherty

Malachi O’Doherty is a writer and journalist living in Belfast. He is the author of two books on the IRA, The Trouble With Guns (1998) and The Telling Year: Belfast 1972 (2007). Gerry Adams: An Unauthorised Life was published by Faber in 2017. His latest non-fiction book is Fifty Years On: The Troubles And The Struggle For Change In Northern Ireland (Atlantic, 2019), and his latest fiction book is Terry Brankin Has A Gun (Merrion, 2020)
