Rebecca Riley

Rebecca Riley is a Cornish writer and researcher who lives in Leeds.  A self-described ‘recovering academic’, she fled the ivory towers in 2003.  Since then she has worked as a regular contributor to The Fortean Times and the Erotic Review.  Together with Kathy Acker and Paul Buck, she contributed to Spread Wide, a collaborative literary fiction (Dis Voir, 2005).  She continues to research and lecture on medieval mystical theology but in recent years has developed a passion for the eighteenth century, and has embarked on writing a series of historical thrillers set in those turbulent times.
